Whispering 18,865
Clinton: "Okay Bernie, If I get 'heads' on this coin flip I win. If its 'tails' you lose." Bernie: "Sure! Let's do this." *Coin toss* Clinton: "It's tails, you lose." Bernie: "Ah... " Coin flips -- specifically "games of chance" -- are used in rare circumstances at precinct caucuses to adjudicate ties or resolve issues created by rounding errors. At stake at these precinct-level coin flips is the one remaining slot in that precinct for a campaign to send a delegate to attend that precinct's county convention. Coin flips are not used to decide which candidate wins a state convention delegate or national convention delegate. Who won these coin flips? Of the seven coin flips/games of chance that were held, six of those were flips to determine whether a county delegate slot went to Clinton or Sanders. Of those six Clinton-vs.-Sanders coin flips, Sanders won five and Clinton one. The seventh coin flip was used to determine whether a county delegate slot went to Sanders or Martin O'Malley. Sanders won that coin flip as well. So in the seven coin flips that the Iowa Democratic Party has a record of, Sanders won six of them. So it's incorrect to say that Clinton won every coin flip. The "coin-flip advantage" (that wouldn't have made a difference either way) went to Sanders, not Clinton. Sanders is the one who got the advantage from the coin flips. Whispering 18,865
Just for clarification, She gets the 22 and he still gets the 21 delegates? Clinton gets 23 and Sanders gets 21, with 100 per cent reporting.
JusKeepBreathin 19,311
I pretty much hate Donald Trump, but at least he got his votes fairly. What Cruz did was underhanded and borderline against the law. His tactics should be looked at with a microscope and His win should be taken away from him. whays worse a President who's views you don't agree with or a President whose views you don't agree with who is also a slimeball liar. I feel the same about Trump and I agree with your comment. People here are talking about a coin toss (when Bernie had more coin tosses in his favor) but the actual cheating went on in the Republican Caucuses. Cruz's people ran with a CNN story that clearly didn't say what they twisted it to be. Cruz's people spread false reports, reports that persuaded some of Carson's people to vote for Cruz. AquaFire Witch 160
I’m a Trump supporter. I’ve said it on here a few times but rarely because I don’t want to be stoned to death. I know many Gaga fans are more liberal and that’s fine by me. I can’t say if Trump would have been in first place had Canadian Cruz not cheated, but the numbers certainly would have CHANGED. Honestly Cruz is using religion to fuel his campaign and that makes me uneasy. He is a like a phony evangelical pastor. He just needs a few snakes to dance around with and he’s complete. Cruz befriended Trump and then slowly started stealing his ideas and incorporating them into his own policies. He is a sneaky slime-ball. If he gets the nomination though I know there is no way he’ll beat Hillary!

That is how Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum won it in 2008 and 2012 respectively. They appeal heavily to the Evangelicals and in turn they vote for the said candidate. But yes, Ted Cruz is a dirty slimeball, but I expect his campaign to slowly go down in flames as time goes by just like Huckabee and Santorum before him. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
