The comments on their update video :air:

"Do a giveaway at 200k dislikes!" :rip:

You don't deserve a point of view if the only thing you see is you.

Well first off, they have millions of subscribers. So whatever. And I'm also not surprised about this either. Lately I've been seeing many react videos. Ellen actually did something similar with kids on her show, but they eventually stopped. A lot of people in the comments section for her videos were blaming her of copying the Fine Bros. Tbh though, it's a free market. I know that the golden rule in YouTube world is "creativity" and that YouTubers get pretty sour when they see others take their ideas. But this shouldn't be taken so seriously. Again, the Fine Bros already have millions of subscribers, TV deals, etc.

Additionally, it's interesting how these guys are trying to come off as professional about this when beforehand they weren't. They were trying to use their subscribers to blast Ellen for doing similar videos. They should be happy that they have such a great opportunity to do this for a living and now they're kind of kicking themselves.

They're on their downfall, look at the ratings on the new videos. The dislikes completely overtake the likes, bye bye React :rip:

Isn't it just "YouTube.com/react" that they have trademarked? But people believe it's trademarked like you said "Blank react to blank"?

This is very controversial in YouTube world tbh... I'm not sure what side I'm on bc I haven't watched 8-Bit reaction videos. If they are exactly the same I would think it's fair to take it down IF the Bro's have trademarked _not the word_ but the whole concept.

At the same time I see their React World as a pure business thing to earn money. The only positive side is that it gives for example me, the right to make content like them give a great number of subscribes, which means I almost automatically will earn money thanks to them. BUT I wonder how many percentage new-starters are getting out of the clicks. The Bro's in that case shouldn't get more than 25-30% for each click IMO.

I hope they lose their entire fanbase and the channel crashes and burns. Does anyone realise how ****ing ridiculous it is that a pair of people think they can trademark the word "react" on one of the most popular sites in existence? Especially when reaction tags are a huge thing in the Youtube community.

Greedy. They are falling prey to their own greed for money and success and I sincerely hope it hurts them instead.

Although I found this pretty funny:

I was trying to figure out what they meant by this but I watched the first video and the update video and can't help but think that the update video is just a cover-up. They knew what they were doing, trying to take over the whole REACT format or force people to join their network and they get a percentage. That's ludicrous.

I unsubscribed because as a person, I feel like your content is your content and if you want to make react videos, go ahead and do it with no fear that you would get sued or whatever or bullied into surrendering your content to a higher channel. I'm stuck back in early days of youtube I guess

Why does greed overtake most people/corps even when it makes no sense whatsoever.

Right? They were already very successful and their brand was only growing and getting bigger. There was no need for them to try and claim a whole sub-genre of entertainment as 'legally theirs'. Especially when it's at the loss of less successful people who would have to pay them to use 'their' format of reacting.

The whole thing is nuts! It boggles the mind :saladga:

At this rate FineBros is gonna have it's downfall :toofunny:

I heard they have sponsors that help run their TV show? (that's really, really bad) And if they get a bad rep the sponsors could possibly drop them and they'll lose a sh1t load of money, resulting in the show being cancelled. If they keep losing subscribers at this rate, they'll lose even more money :toofunny:
