Freedom of speech, buddy. If you're allowed to stay here and hate on everything Gaga does, others are allowed to express their dislike for Katy and her lyrics or whatever she's up to.

Gaga is by default better songwriter than Katy, she doesn't hire professional songwriter teams to get hit songs. You can cherry pick some of her hooks, it doesn't make them bad. And it's funny you put her songwriting talent in quotes, her SHOF award remains unbothered.

Hating without reason is not an opinion. I havent hated ANYONE except haters. I have no idea what you are on about. And yeah Gaga has a huge team of songwriters to help her write her hits. Dont be delusional. And btw most of them are basic four chord top 40 pop songs, nothing musically special. Super chliche and basic from musical stand point. And yeah, her lyrics are not ALL that great. (For me, I like her for these basic catchy tunes, not for her thinking she makes some high art) So don't even try to but her on some sort of pedastal thats too high. Yeah, maybe higher than many but still. She isn't some Mozart you see her as. And her award is not for song writing, just for being Iconic or whatever... Let's talk after she is in The actual songwriting hall of Fame for songwriting merits. But this is getting waaaay OT.

No, my absolute disapproval for undeserved win was apparent and its still my opinion. However that doesnt mean I hate Gaga. Jeez... And besides I said without a reason, I had a reason; shes wasnt The best actress in anyway shape of form. Thats not even question able, you can ask pretty much anyone who should have won. Don't come for Gaga's lyrics, darling. She is easily one of the best songwriters in the mainstream industry right now and her songs have far more substance then 95% of what's on the radio.

Dude, you hated her universally praised Sound Of Music performance. You were mocking her role for AHS, claiming she won't have any dialogue, you hated her Golden Globe nom and the fact she won. Maybe each one of the people who commented here have reason to dislike Katy's lyrics or her persona. You never asked about the reason, you just straight out insulted members who did nothing to you. I never said Gaga is a Mozzart, what kind of silly exaggeration and not true, she has producers and she's generous with credits. Read what RedOne and Garibay said about that.

Don't call me darling. And oh yes I will come for her lyrics as I come to anyone's. Hers are mostly not that great. And I disagree about her being one of The best song writers. Im sorry but Noway not even near. She's ok for a popstar, thats it. Nothing extraordinary in her songs.

And noone knows what actually happens in studio and how reliable producers' comments are. Maybe they say that to get more credits in exhance (I don't believe so but just to point out that we don't know what really happens behind closed doors). The fact remains, most of her hits has a big amout of writers...

Stop twisting my opinions and words! I disliked her performance yes for being forced and fake operatic. I just questioned her role and speculated its extent before its premier. After that I have said numerous times I liked her in AHS and she was great. However, not deserving GG for it. Thats how simple it is.

Gaga does not have a team of lyricists come in to help her write her songs, like Katy does. That is straight up BS you are spouting right there! 

And then you go on to drag Gaga's lyrics and melodies...why are you even here? You aren't a Gaga fan, who has a few negative opinions every once in a while, you are a person who goes from thread to thread bringing in as much negativity as possible and it has been constant for months and months. OOTW is the sixth single. The reason they went ahead and released a sixth single, although promo and the tour is over, is simply because the album is still selling so well. 

It was one of the biggest albums of the decade, along with Adele's albums. It woukd be difficult to say what albums are the biggest "of the century", since Soundscan hasn't been around that long and we have transitioned from physical sales of albums to streaming and free downloads over the last 100 years.

I wasnt even talking about team of lyric writers, but song writers. And no, I have not really really loved anything Gaga has done in recent years. AHS was cool, but music/performance related has been kind of blaah for me... And Im sick and tired of ppl putting her on a pedastal. I get it this is a fan forum, but saying she's one of The best songwriters?? Really? Maybe amoung modern pop girl's, but on general The whole notion is laughable from The musical stand point. She's a mainstream pop star for god sake! No need to constantly try to make her out to be something else. Shes great as that! Actually her best for catchy bobs etc. I love her then. But ALL high art wannabe BS makes me gringe so hard. And then monsters claiming her to be Mozart Jesus or something -_-

 Im giving her one last change as a pop artist and IF she doesnt deliver more than substandard basic ass generic edm yet again, Im sooo out of here. Besides, Im mostly on Entertainment forums anyway... We'll see. But I will keep enjoying The part of Gaga's career I really liked. I know ggd will be glad that Im gone. 

But on a general note, Im sick and tired of ggd/monsters additude and cult mentality. "Let's hate on everyone else but gaga and especially anyone who dares to critisize mummy..." etc. Its weird...
