Or maybe, just maybe she god fed up with everyone  caounting charts and criticsizing her commerical succes, that she just wonted to honestly performed song thats she written, and fit her current feelings at that time,i appriciate this vonerable and raw side of her and this perormance,

If she and her team had made the right choices for the Era so that it woudl run smoothly she would have the free space to perform whatever she wants for ime to time. Since the Era was not on track, she didn't have the free space to do whatever she wanted. (this is not the case anyway since she just wasn't emotionally well)

dope as a song was among brighter moments on ARTPOP, and this performance. this is my opinion just, since none of you  is in her menagment team you cants actually pinpoint whet were by who went wrong and its no point in analysing this, i looove that song and get the performance, if you dont like it you always have the choice to watch her perfomnace of singles in that era-there were plenty, dope was only performed a few times-  and both times the performance had soul. :

The thing is that the people that were following the charts a lot back then (and I remember the most) can tell what would have happened cause we knew how they were working and we were tracking them obsessively (that's why I still remember this today). And we are talking from a charting perspective in this thread, don't throw the "music is what matters'' card in here cause the point is not if we enjoyed the song or the performance, that belongs to a different thread.

I never judged her though. (and it's not like Gaga has in not the person that makes sacrifices for her career ). It still remains a bad descision, it's a fact. It's one of th biggest mistakes of Gaga's career when it comes to management. (cause she lost her management obviously)

Wasn't DWUW the current single? i remember i was so mad at her that she had to promote that hideous song instead of DWUW, i was imagine a great performance yet she deliver that ****, bye

Actually I am not obsessed with charts, I just love tracking them.If you mean that as an obsession then I dont; have a problem with it. Sales have never defined my taste in music. There are very few Pop acts of today that I even like. I just love Gaga and I love tracking her charts because my love for her can be transalted to love from the public. We are humans, we are social, we love to share our love wih others. This is why you are in this forum as well.

I'm glad that she didn't do Applause because Bill Werde did some shady **** with Dope's position and it would've been extremely bad publicity had he done that for Applause.

i understand that but sometimes its good to appreciate somthng just beacuse of its greatness, and beacuse you can tell iits honest , and  that song  the fact that it wasnt the single,  the fact  that she had problem with people who worked for her and that everyone was criticising her succes at that time- beacuse of all that this performance as a story and the ways she perofmed it mad abig impact on me, and ishe earned alot of recpect from me that night. thats all i was trying to say

But I do appreciate all these, it's just that this thread is about chars. And it's true that Gaga was having hard times with the media because of her underperformance but that why I'm so sad about all the mess of the Era, because Gaga received all that hate and damaged her career and the Era itself. The music is what matters and the reason we are today here (or the reason we should be here lol) but Gaga is a Pop(ular) act and in Pop success always matters to keep the woman we all love going and do the things she loves. If ARTPOP was less disastrous when it comes to management and so more successful we would have all enjoyed the Era even more (including Gaga) cause there would have been much less negativity and much less worying about performance. The best thing about success is that you don't have to worry about the lack of success,
