No that's not my point, my point is that Kurds are known to fight against ISIS, they are actually often "used " by US or Western countries to fight because they are a bit against everyone being a minority in the countries they live in. Many women actually fight ISIS so it's not about being educated or whatever just that it's odd one would join ISIS and I don't understand your comparison with being Icelandic? He is just a kurdish guy, he is neither the consciousness of kurds nor spokesperson of what is best for them... So I do not really think that it is odd or anything. Any fanatic and violent muslim can support ISIS. Also Kurds of Turkey did not fight against ISIS... PS: forget about the icelandic part, I mistakenly interpreted your first entry.
