I'd like season six to be subtitled Colony, and I would love Gaga to have an important 3 episode character arc where she falls in love with a Native American man or something like that. I want her to continue acting, but maybe AHS isn't the best for her. I think she should use Hotel as a base for other more serious roles in film, hopefully Streisand's Gypsy. Jessica was named an AHS star after so many (wonderful) attempts and Gaga should do the same. Jessica is remembered as a huge part of AHS because she's done so many seasons and portrayed so many different characters from the show. I mean when we talk about AHS, we never mention Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott, James Cromwell (who won an Emmy) but Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Jessica Lange. So Gaga will kind of be forgotten soon if she keeps skipping seasons. I know LG5 is happening and she might not have the time to do season six but I hope she at least plays a supporting role. That way she gets the best of both worlds, music and acting, not to mention it allows her contribution to develop in AHS history. (I also think she can win a lot of supporting role awards, Jessica won an Emmy for her supporting role in Murder House but never for a main role in other AHS seasons, so the same might happen to Gaga) Hotel's ratings were obviously a downturn from Freak Show, but critically most of its episodes are still positively received, some even acclaimed. So even if AHS has low ratings, it still has nominations and awards coming up for them. I was actually surprised to see Hotel get nominated for a Golden Globe when Asylum wasn't. Also I believe as long as they come up with an interesting concept with better directing and writing, viewers WILL return. So it's not like Gaga is doomed with AHS forever. They never even provided a source of who making that statement. They just said "it's cancelling, that's it!" so If it was real, it would have caused a massive stir-up on GGD and the AHS community but that never happened so I'm gonna assume this is fake. If the next season isn't the last, then the one afterwards will likely be. Either way, I just don't think the show allows for Gaga to express her full potential, neither does it really give her talent the exposure it needs.
