I think I remember learning something about heaven lying at the feet of a mother in Islam, and that the mother on the Day of Judgement will tell God whether she believes her child should be permitted into heaven. If she says no then instant rejection from heaven, and if she says yes then that'll weigh a lot and be taken into consideration when deciding where the individual goes
