What if LG5 were a complete surprise but not a surprise release?

What if Gaga were announce things as she usually does but the main details of the album were left unannounced.

Example: 

Gaga tweets or announces

"My new single "Caterpillar" (or whatever - u get the point) will be released 2.12.16. The new album 5.3.16"

The album gets no title. Only a release date. No album art. No tracklist. All is revealed on the day of the release (or whenever the dang album leaks because....let's be real) You can pre-order digital or physical bundles and stuff but everything would be missing the album art and tracklist COMPLETELY. I'd be here for it but what I'm wondering is would this work? Would doing something like this be a commercial success or failure? I feel like it's cool because it's not "Beyonce suprise release ripoff". It's planned. There's hype. But it's all one big mystery. 

Thoughts?

I like the idea of not releasing the album title or any of the art from the album before album is officially released. How Gaga is releasing all the photos from V Magazine I find it's a bit much, she's giving it all away before the issue comes out, if people see all the images they might not feel they have to buy the issue or pay attention to the actual interviews because so much focus is on the images. It's just like if Gaga releases all the album imagery ahead of time, it won't be as exciting as seeing it come together with the music when actual album is released.

And about it being a failure or a success depends on the quality of music that's there on it. Plus how well the single does (musically and commercially).

Most fans would preorder the album so the sales would be not so much cuz the GP will know the real taste of the album only after it releases and GP will start buying it if it stays up to the hype it was given.

This is a good idea, so that the 2nd week sales don't drop (Aka ARTPOP)

Is music really about quality these days? I rarely hear anything being said about the quality of the music, but rather just how much it sold and how popular it is.

Huh. I really like this idea. It's like a hybrid of a Beyonce-style surprise release and the usual over-sharing of details to the point where there are little surprises when the fans do get the actual album. I'd totally be for it.

It will leak

The leakage will negatively effect the singles chart performance and not perform to fans expectations 

Fans will slate and critisise Gaga

Gaga gets sad and depressed due to the backlash

Do I see a repeat? And no I am not here for charts, I am speaking about this damn fanbase as a whole.
