I only agree with your second point. IMO Rap dominates most is the music industry in th US. Probably the only medium that still sells albums on a variety of artists it might even be the number one music genre in the US, maybe Country music beats it, but that took a huge hit now that TS is a pop girl. People confuse pop and RnB all the time when you separate the two genres sales individually, they are probably less than rap.  Also Nicki Minaj is far from being seen as raps bad girl or musics bad girl. She is actually the darling of rap music. She gets the most awards and the most radio hits as well. I'd say Banks is the bad girl of rap.

Um, no. 

1.) Lil Wayne and Kanye West, both rappers, have big selling albums. Granted, Women rappers have a tough time than their male counterparts, but the fact she decides to make her singles be her pop songs, makes me cringe when she calls herself the Female Rap Queen, when her biggest hits are pop songs. Even Iggy, even though she can't rap live as most of yall say, her verses on her hit singles have been mostly rap. 

2. Agreed. To me personally, Nicki is no rap queen but the female version of Pitbull. Seriously, she is the one to go to for all features. Rihanna's album isnt out yet, and there is already rumors of Nicki being on it, which would not surprise me at all. 

3.) No. The fact that she is a bad girl, imo has nothing to do with this. Look at Ms. Banks for example. Even tho she is an extremely bad girl, and pretty much an indy artist, her sales are kinda good for someone in her position. The problem Nicki is having is being overexposed and trying to make herself look hot "sh!t" in public appearances. The first time was cool, but anything she does or says to try to help the female community or any cause, in the end, she makes it about herself. People get annoyed of that and eventually, people start rolling their eyes when her name pops up. It's good to act humble and stay private in public than to do what she does.

I honestly thought she was more successful than this. Blown away. I knew she didn't have a number one because Mariah made that shady comment to her on American Idol...but damn....I thought she had at least 7 or 8 Top Five hits. But only 3? Over the course of six years in the game? Gaga hasn't had a massive hit in four years and she has more top five songs on a single album than Nicki has in her entire career? What????

I think Nicki needs to do less features for the next couple of years and focus on herself. Once she has had a few successful hits as a lead artist without anyone else she can go back to collaborating with others.
