The room must be tricked out with 4 rolling wardrobe racks, accompanied by 30 hangers (with and without clips), an iron and board, a Jiffy clothing steamer and four 6-foot banquet tables covered in linen. Hotel guests and employees who are offended by nudity ... too bad! Gaga's rider makes no bones about it ... "Please ensure the group is not asked to adhere to any dress code which your hotel might have." Gaga and her clothes also get secret service-level protection. Her team sends security detail to the hotel to sweep it 2 days prior to her arrival. As ever, her requests are mostly necessary. So glad I didn't read any "pink flowers, pink walls (repaint if needed), pink everything in my room" and that kind of silly requests. Last summer I actually had tea at the Bristol Hotel, which is where she stays when she comes to Paris, and I talked about her with an employee who told me that the only thing she didn't like about Gaga was that she often walks around naked in the hotel.......... Right, those are actually pretty... normal demands for a wardrobe room. I mean, I'm working at the costume department for films and TV and those are basically the things I'd have at the office.
