ADDICTED

By the time you reach the end of this sentence, it'll be too late to realize I just wasted your time with a pointless sig.

Her ballads don't get the credit they deserve. She has an amazing gift writing and singing ballads. If she only did ballads the rest of her career I'd be so happy.  Her ballads are extraordinary. i know many people love Madonna when she is doing the dance moves and being the strong take no **** woman, but IMO she is stronger when she shows vulnerability. When she shows us that she has been hurt, but she made it through it. There is a strength in the vulnerability she displays.  :flutter:

I could go on and on about the Madonna songs I think are underrated. Unlike many pop artists, Madonna's album cuts are usually stellar (especially from 1989 - 2005). Naturally, many great Madonna songs are forgotten/ignored/not known about simply because they never got the chance to even be a single.

However, the song I wanna shine a spotlight on is "The Beast Within." It's so much more than a remix for "Justify My Love." I don't know about y'all, but I've never heard anyone, let alone a mainstream pop star, release a song of them reciting verses from the Book of Revelation over Middle Eastern beats and sounds (reflecting the origin of the book). It's incredibly fascinating and next-level.

I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

Falling Free.

I feel like it's overlooked simply because it's on MDNA which yes, isn't her best album, but still, this ballad is one of the most beautiful things she ever created imo

I also want to say that "Where's  The Party" is so underrated. I freaking love that song. Such a bop. Also "Causing a Commotion" no one ever mentions those tracks. lol. I still stand by my prior comment too.
