LORD GAGA 1,271 Posted December 14, 2015 Share Posted December 14, 2015 She is just as deserving as everyone else in the category, the panel responsible for choosing don't make decisions lightly, and are experts in their field, they have weighed up the variables and have deemed her worthy of a nomination. Personally for me she's more than worthy as she portrays her character perfectly and as the lead role in a major show has had critical acclaim for it. It feels more like she's being used to garner viewership as opposed to having a genuinely award-winning performance. It's all very average. Good for her first big role, but average in the grand scheme. Still waiting for Tatiana Maslany to snag a nomination.. If ANYONE deserves a win it's her. But it's always just because they were the lead in a good movie. It's not like "this person acted better." I think she pulled off the role great, especially after these latest episodes exposed the character's back story. I think she deserves it. The lead on AHS usually gets nominated, no? She was ok and I enjoyed her, but her acting is NOWHERE near that level compared to other actors. This is for viewers etc absolutely. Its quite telling that ALL other actors from AHS were nominated for critics choige and Gaga was nowhere to be seen... Again, she did good, just not THAT good... I mean, she has done a lot of nude scenes and she works very well with the lame vampire role she got. As such, those lines of questioning should be directed at the Awards panel itself, not towards Lady Gaga and definitely not in her fan forums, where she has done nothing to warrant such blatant negativity. I never questioned her "buying the awards", I only said the Awards sometimes do this kind of stuff to get buzz about the awards.
