"Justin Bieber has replaced himself at Number One in the Official UK Single Chart, matching a record previously held by just The Beatles and Elvis Presley.

Bieber's 'Love Yourself' is the new Number One in the UK and replaces last week's chart-topper, Bieber's own 'Sorry'. A third single, 'What Do You Mean', is also at Number Four. All three songs feature on the Canadian pop star's new album 'Purpose'.

'Love Yourself' climbed one position to the top spot and was streamed 5.97m times in the UK last week. 'Sorry' picked up 5.5m streams.

The last time an act replaced themselves at the top of the UK Single Chart was Elvis Presley in 2005. Reissues of classic singles 'Jailhouse Rock' and 'One Night/I Got Stung' went to the top of the charts in successive weeks). However, the last living act to achieve the feat was The Beatles in December 1963, with 'She Loves You' and 'I Want To Hold Your Hand'."

Who else but the legendary, iconic, multi talented modern day Beatles? :applause: #1s were so much easier to get back in the day anyway :applause:

This just goes to show how impact is more important in artist than sales. That's not to say he doesn't have talent or isn't a good artist. But he hardly qualifies to be categorized as a legend (which is what I take this article implies) until his impact is shown.

Haroon

Omg if he gets all top 3 :rip: But it's amazing that 3 of his songs are in the top 5 anyway, huge congratulations :applause: I like Sorry and WDYM but not Love Yourself :noparty:
