I mean of course it wouldn't be the same compared to when Tristan was alive but Liz can be with his ghost for all eternity if that eventually becomes his purpose. Anyone killed in Hotel stayed in Hotel. That's why Mr.March tell Countess in last episode before break, that if she wants to kill her new gay husband, better kill him off the property since it will be awkward to see him haunting the hotel.
