Adelephant 288
Now that yet another album of hers is doing unimaginable numbers without even trying that hard, it's obvious Adele remains an untouchable force in music. She will break records that wil most likely never be broken again. She is now the biggest ever and will most likely remain the biggest ever. Is Adele the biggest legend ever? Sia Daily 2,045
I do think she is overrated but I do love her and coming from her neck of the woods, it's such an achievement, I feel proud to say I have the river lea running through ma town I'm pleased for her, It's something so rare these days, especially in an age where people don't always pay for music (especially CDs which are selling loads in Adele's case)
Sakrai 4,759
Yes. She is the biggest legend EVER. Her impressive sales (OVER 2 MILLIONS) without a doubt define our generation as a whole. Her poignant lyrics challenge authority, question beliefs and open our eyes to new levels of understanding. How could this world ever be the same after being exposed to the bold and brilliant statements that Adele conjures with her revolutionary music. Oh, I'm just visiting-

GagaMyBlood95 9,883
Um yeah, can you not see the numbers? I mean, you can do some amazing numbers like Gaga did in 2011, or Taylor with huge huge huge promotion and everything, but she isn't even trying and she will sell x3 of all that.. I mean, it's not just one country, it's EVERYWHERE. So the answer is, yes she is a legend already.

paul 687
she's still becoming a legend in my opinion, sales don't solely define that status. give it another album or two

Nino 12
Adele is popular, but not a revolutionary figure in pop music. Numbers/popularity wise she easily could be, M and MJ still built the pop music space as it is today from the ground up though. That's why they're the king and queen of pop and always will be. eifulien 2,392
Well with only 3 albums can you be a legend? I really appreciate her effort with 25. I haven't listened to 19, and 21 wasn't my thing apart from the singles. As she stands right now she is on the right track to legendary status, she just need to have continued success not retire, out of fear that she won't be able to reprise her success. To be honest I don't think she is wildly original, trying to push boundaries, but no one can take away her authenticity. She is so real, so, well maybe even, ordinary (not discussing vocal abilities, okay don't drag me I'm referring to topics she writes about and her behaviour in public). That is what makes her so relatable to all generations, that's where her success stems from. Unfortunately our generation has been exposed to too much s-x in the industry to a point where it is the status-quo and when someone doesn't do it, it is already considered "different", "non-standard", etc. Whereas I assume decades ago it was the other way around... I just think people were in dire need for that artist who can transform all their joy and pain of being human into a song of emotion. And Adele became the perfect fit.
