So typically when artists take sponsorships or start selling their image to brands and stuff, it's not because they're greedy or selling out, it's because they basically have no money? This blows my mind.

Right, the music industry is really ****ed up, ok. But I find it funny to look at all these artists complaining, since they're all basically loaded and not what we could call struggling artists.

If being part of the music industry is so bad, then why don't they just record music in their garage and sell their CDs in the middle of Times Square to the passersby...? It can't be all so bad, come on.
