I learned the meaning of "slay" at the age of 4, when I learned to read and started working my way through the plays of Shakespeare. However, it has always been my contention that the word "slay" has been sickeningly overused on Pop Forums, Twitter, etc. Truly one of those words that degrade the collective intelligence.
