Seems like such predatory behaviour from Dr Luke. He is basically in complete control of her career and that's what allowed for an environment where he could pressure and blackmail her into all sorts of things and treat her horribly.

I mean this is exactly what a predator would do, 10 albums?? Not only is it 10 albums for his label but he also has to produce them. That puts him in a very powerful position.

Imagine you are a musician, the person who is the head of your label and is in control of producing your songs is literally in complete control of your career. Can you speak out against such a powerful person? Will people believe you? He has more money and you are forced to work on 10 albums with him and you can't do anything about it.

It's like how some abused married women, especially during times when women couldn't get a job and be independent, find it almost impossible to leave their abusers. Their abusers have them tied up financially and are controlling their lives.

True, and If he doesn't promote them, they wouldn't get attention by the GP and flop - Kesha's career after the Albums would be over.

The only thing that could happen is - that his company loses all their money, his productions flop and no artists will work with him anymore, because If they can't provide the money to distribute the music, she's out of the contract with Luke (I Think). 

Or, she finds someone rich, or starts a Kickstarter that pays her out and then moves to Warner Music or Universal - away from sony.
