It bordered on a rock-ish vibe but it didn't go far enough and the electronic glitter on top and the editing on her vocals in the verses (contrasted by the unedited chorus vocals) makes it all sound like a mess to me. I prefer the acoustic versions we have, live.But I'd love more songs like it, just properly produced with a more acoustic (and I mean in the sense of instruments, like can we hear a REAL sounding electric guitar for once please) feel to it. The mixture between heavy synth, some instruments here and there, not too heavily autotuned vocals, it's what makes this album so special for me... this is her most versatile and original album to date, imo But I'm only a man and I do what I can.
