This confused me as well  I thought Poker Face and Bad Romance were both Diamond certified or whatever but  

Do you have any problem with the female Michael Jackson Katy Perry,that has achieved 5 no.1 with 1 album something your Queen Adele hasn t managed to do

It hurts me when people say this  

Artistically Gaga is much closer to MJ than Katy is and, certifications aside, Gaga's sold more anyways

Yeah, "Roar" would've made more sense to me. The video of "Dark Horse" had a lot of views and everything, but for some reason, "Roar" felt bigger as a single.

Yeah. To me, Roar and Teenage Dream were EVERYWHERE when they debuted. I thought they were much bigger than Firework and DH (even though I know both were big hits for her). I'm actually very surprised that Teenage Dream hasn't reached that level 2x by now!

Nope, those are just digital sales. They do not include streams and views. The certifications (specially the diamond ones) definitely do.
