I teach all general subjects, except for Music and PE. They were at music class, and I happened to be there at the back with my computer. The teacher started talking about the Sound of music movie. And then I was like: 

So I said: did you know that... 

And played the performance for them.

They were really impressed by her voice and said she looked beautiful!

The music teacher was like: Lady Gaga? Ew.

And after the performance she was: omg really? That is amazing what a voice! I always felt pushed back by her because of the excentric things... but she changed my mind after this performance!

Yeah, the kids knew about her. There were two which have said that they like her a lot

I teach on 3rd grade! (8-9 years old), but it changes every year!

 

I feel like there are still too many people who don't know about her amazing voice. That's so annoying. I was at the ArtRave last year and a few of my friends asked me if Gaga was lip syncing the whole time  They simply didn't know about her capability to sing nearly every genre and they were blown away when I showed them some videos on youtube!

So thanks for sharing this story with us, it's great to hear that the music teacher changed her mind after seeing this performance.
