DISGUSTING. He's assaulting her right IN FRONT of the teacher and students and they're just watching are you fûcking kidding me? I just can't at this

By the time you reach the end of this sentence, it'll be too late to realize I just wasted your time with a pointless sig.

Is there any reason why he's doing this?

She got expelled...and refused to leave.

The officer went to far and should have asked for a female officer to assist... Two adults could have picked the entire chair up with her in it and moved it to another location and called her parents.

like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. My words give a clue, look inside to see whats true

That was my first thought. Why didn't they call in a couple of security guards or coaches and simply pick the chair up and carry it to the school office? Then call her parents to come and get her. I swear, sometimes people make things more difficult than they need to be!  :saladga:

"We want to de-escalate situations instead of escalate them. When you have somebody on fire you don't want to throw gasoline on them. You want to put the fire out,"

I love that the Sheriff said this.

How bad is it that I'm relieved to hear an officer speak in the news to say their colleague was in the wrong? So often we have officers being called out for acting inappropriately and they are defended, it feels like they never truly have to face punishment when they hurt others. Finally we see one receiving some reasonable consequences for his actions. :applause:

For real? Maybe he was the only policeman on campus. You think the football and wrestling coaches would come there to help? Good chance they have a class to teach and worry about first until school is out. Have you ever saw 3 or 4 people picking up the chair with a student on it? It's just ridiculous. How about the crazy teen fighting in mid-air and fall off the chair and bang her head onto the floor?

That officer could have do some jiu-jitsu move to armlock her so he doesn't have to throw her off the chair like that. He do need more training. The girl didn't follow the teacher's command to leave so now they call the police officer for muscle power.

Yes, for real. There are aides, guidance counselors, principals, teachers on their planning hour that could have stepped into a classroom for ten minutes while a coach or another male teacher could have helped move the desk to the office. There were security gaurds on campus, as the article stated, and they could have helped move the chair. The policeman was called to the school. They could have diffused the situation, instead of the escalation that occurred.

The students and teacher could have been moved to the cafeteria, an empty classroom or the gym and the parents could have been called to come get their child. There were other options available than what happened with the policemen in front of a classroom full of students.
