  1. 1. Do you think that today's release of 'Hello' has brought an unofficial end to the '1989' era?

    • Yea, Adele chucked Taylor off of her throne.

    • No, Tay Tay's single releases will keep coming and keep slaying.

Does it matter? She already had 5 top 10 singles from the album and sold a lot more than our fave, her tour is also a success. If it truly messed with someone's era, that is Justin, 1D and Ariana.

I hope. I'm over TayTay Daily.

More like its "Hate Taylor" Daily :/

All I see is hate from everyone, now it's gonna be Adele's turn. I'm not even sorry when its the truth. Whoever is on top, there will bound be a bunch of haters occupying the threads of the artist.

its a fair question. I'm actually a fan of both.

Nah. 1989 is still selling a ton every week and will continue to sell during the holiday season and end up around ten million sold. The 1989 tour will still end up being the highest grossing tour from a female and in the top 3. (probably) The album still has a top 5 single and will probably have at least one more single. And we still have the Grammys. It's an impressive era, for sure!

But Adele has snatched all of Taylors grammys

But Adele has snatched all of Taylors grammys so it doesnt matter

They won't be eligible in the same year. Taylor's year is 2016 and Adele's will be 2017.

And I thought you put me on ignore? Why are you replying to my comment?

Yes. Just like when she did on Golden Globe 2013 for Best Original Song

i actually don't I'm neutral, just curious about how people feel about it.

Take in consideration that Wildest Dreams, her fifth single from 1989, is doing pretty well. She might release a single and I'm certain that it will be a modest success. Probably not a smash, but a modest success.

Riiiight, you never did it, because you are all talk. Lame.

No, they are not. Look up the eligibility deadline, because you are dead wrong. 1989 will be eligible in 2016 and 25, along with Hello will be eligible in 2017.

I'm hoping Wildest Dreams went top 5 this week so she can nab that 4 top 5 singles trophy. I'm almost positive it did. If she releases New Romantics it'll do well cuz thats a smash and it was on the deluxe version that not a lot of people have so sales of that single can still be potentially high.
