But now I am curious you have to explain to me :)

It's a joke how kids are sometimes horrified by their parents. It was sarcasm.

Do your own research.

as long as they do a sequel to Coven and base i on the Slavic Witch Baba Yaga

In Slavic folklore, Baba Yaga is a supernatural being (or one of a trio of sisters of the same name) who appears as a deformed and/or ferocious-looking woman. Baba Yaga flies around in a mortar, wields a pestle, and dwells deep in the forest in a hut usually described as standing on chicken legs (or sometimes a single chicken leg).[1] Baba Yaga may help or hinder those that encounter or seek her out. She sometimes plays a maternal role, and also has associations with forest wildlife. According to Vladimir Propp's folktale morphology, Baba Yaga commonly appears as either a donor or villain, or may be altogether ambiguous.

EHS: Learning German

:derpga:

Spanish: easy

French: no problem

German: gave up after a week :later:

I'd always heard that for English speakers learning German was supposed to be the easiest language to learn? :duck: (Not trying to be rude if English isn't your first language, you both speak it very well so I'm just assuming).

I'm hoping to take up German soon so I hope you two aren't right :xtina2:

Well English is a germanic language so the roots are similar but actually around 60% of the vocabulary (not grammar) comes from latin and french so maybe that's what makes English so special. I guess grammar may be harder to learn than words, I don't know...

I think for me it had to do with my interest level. I really wanted to learn Spanish and French, both because I was interested in the languages and cultures, and because I could see the use in them for me. I started taking German and just didn't feel super committed, interested or could see it being very useful for me. I think the challenge with German is that the structure is a lot more complex, especially in comparison to Spanish. If you are really dedicated and interested, you can do it :) don't be discouraged and good luck!

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

I've heard that the whole reason German is "easier" for english speakers is because the grammar and sentence structure in both languages are very similar, is this true?

And on topic (): if EHS was a thing and Gaga's character was the immortal version of that evil countess lady that lived in Hungary, we could have her play a main role in another season, giving us the Countess' origin story :creepflop:

yeah I know Elizabeth isn't supposed to be that woman but I think it's an interesting idea
