Seriously guys... We all internally know that most women are way more vulnerable than most men. Of course there are male victims and female rapists, but the frequency and the violence is very different.

If you are a guy ask to yourself when was the last time you were afraid of being raped by a woman and then think how many times does a woman has being afraid of being raped by a man.

Of course the statistics suggest otherwise but I think that is only because a majority of cases involving a man who has been raped rarely gets reported let alone documented.  We should teach both men and women about rape, it's not necessarily gender specific, there's not a 'rape switch' in the male brain so personally for me education on the subject should be for the masses. 

No one denies men experience rape as well but do you realize the majority of s-xual assaults of men are committed by other men? Addressing this issue on all fronts starts with educating boys.

We will have to agree to disagree.  Can you imagine educating kids on rape "Can all the girls please leave the room as this does not relate to them because of the statistics". 

I don't see the harm in teaching both boys and girls?  Surely that is more productive? To clarify I don't have an issue with the song, video or its message, I have an issue with the way this article is written to clearly place blame on the male species when really anyone can be a victim of such abuse.

I see your pov here and I think everyone understands it, but what you're doing is making this about yourself. It's not an attack on the "male species", but we have to acknowledge that boys aren't being taught enough about s-xual assault. I think you're misunderstood if you believe girls aren't taught, because I can tell you from personal experience I've had to be aware of it since I was quite young. And I don't think anyone is suggesting to separate girls from boys if this sort of discussion were held in a classroom - the article just states that there is a need for parents to be more proactive in educating their boys, rather than just warning their girls to be safe.
