I don't normally real young adult literature, so that is great advice, stick with it till the third book.

TREASURE IT!! I honestly wish after all these years that I could forget the story and experience it for the first time again. It's honestly amazing!! May you be blessed :kissga:

same

The first two books are "lighter" and more guided towards younger children. But they are both still amazing. The general consensus from majority of HP fans is that you get hooked and start truly loving the series during the third book, Prisoner of Azkaban. It's when the series begins getting a lot darker and more adult.

Not to say that the first two books don't have dark moments and arent important to later books because, they definitely are! I just think that's where most people really start falling in love with characters and become a fan.

anyone else agree to any of that?

i don't remember actually, but it think i fell in love with the characters as soon as i finished the 1st book

GOF is my favorite...its beginning was epic...it was the first time that we experienced Voldemort and i got really scared when i read the first chapter(the one where Harry was dreaming) :legend:

ah,how i miss reading those books
