Obviously this thread is just to bash Madonna yet again. Only sorry fools believe these gossips, whether its about M or Gaga or about whoever...

However, I do find it yet again strange that its okey to call her a Bitch, old etc. (Like some other stars as well) on this site based on fake rumours.

Well, yeah, but you can't deny there's a double standard

If this same article was made about Gaga (and Gaga has had a ton of fake articles about her rude behavior towards her staff etc.) the entire thread would be filled with insults towards the source, not the artist who's the victim of a fake rumor

I want to point out that I can probably count on one hand the amount of people posting here who actually believe the article. Most posts have been defending Madonna, calling the article fake, etc. So let's not make it like the people in this thread are hating on her just because we can cherry-pick a minority of anti-Madonna posts.

Oh no, I totally agree that this is gossip and trash and these kinds of articles shouldn't be written anymore. It's just sometimes when there's a thread about an artist (Gaga included) people will often take the small amount of negative comments towards the artist and use them to insist the whole thread is bad. Like someone will probably use this thread in the future to say the members here are always rude to Madonna, despite the fact that majority of the people posting in here aren't hating on her or believing the article.

This is true, but the difference is already present in the very OP's of these threads where, not explicitly in this case but implicitly, the (fake) article is presented as possibly true, leading to off-topic discussions about Madonna while an obviously fake article about Gaga will automatically be presented as an obviously fake article The intention of posting is crucial here.

I mean, it's not like we haven't had these threads before and in the most recent one (Madonna's dancers going on a strike) there were actual pages filled entirely with people who believed this either must or at least could be true (+ the obligatory "Madonna is a b---h" comment).

My responses towards this kind of thing (I've made two today) were actually more indirectly in response to a Gaga-incident that I perhaps I'm still annoyed by.

Threads like this do make me think we need a "Tabloid" or "Rumor" tag for this section, though. Or perhaps trashy gossip without real proof should go in Entertainment Talk? Definitely a conversation that's being opened up behind the scenes.

Oh no! It is the right section.  I'm just starting to wonder if we need a "Tabloid" or "Rumor" tag in this section, or if maybe Rumors should start to be posted in Entertainment Talk.
