Rihanna has been on break for TWO years now. Could any of you take two years off of your job and just return whenever you want? Ri's just been smoking pounds of pot daily while she lounges in her money. I cringe every time I see the whole "but shes on a break" excuse.

i bet it sells less than Cheek to Cheek first week with the amount of waiting and all the singles released from it before it's even dropped and only one of which was successful tbh, which is sad bc i was liking the diverse sound she had and i wanna buy this album.

If she honestly released it as volumes with different songs the amount of rihanna hate on here would double saying she's copied ARTPOP's original concept (like ya'll did with Beyonce's visual album)

 MESS. If she was going to release a lead single in January, she should've at least had the album mostly ready. She should've released the lead now (no competition), but not FourFiveSeconds, she should scrap it Though this era is going through a slow death, and in not as excited anymore 

Make no mistake, the album was likely almost completely ready when 45S was released but it just got delayed and re-worked ever since the album campaign wasn't as successful as hoped. It happens all the time, but it just so rarely happens to someone of Rihanna's age and hit making abilities that we try to convince ourselves that there's other reasons behind it. She did a magazine interview months ago where she was so excited about her new album and as those interviews are usually done 2 months or so before the issue's release, she likely did it just shortly after 45S's release, which makes it sound as if her album was almost completely done at the time. Thing is, her team can't very well announce that everything was just buzz singles to keep her fans happy throughout the long wait before her new album. Because Rihanna has made so many references to her new album, ever since 45S that there is no way this will fly as the legit plan from the beginning. She just doesn't want to release an album with no hits as she's terrifed her career could be over if she does. But she's only making that more unlikely anyway by delaying.

You have NO idea what you're talking about. This women was non stop for eight years straight and even during her tour of no recording she has had countless projects. I doubt you're a Rihanna stan, so don't bother speaking on it. 

Other than a tour, nothing she does is particularly "hard". Interviews are not hard. Walking a runway is not hard. Singing demos in a studio is not hard. Photoshoots are not hard. She goes to parties on a seemingly daily basis. She has a GREAT easy life. Please don't act like she works "hard" just because you're a stan.
