Why is this always happening in Chile

(that's rhetoric, i know very well the actual reasons)

Meanwhile what you did was admirable,

next time if you're indoors, try stand against a wall near the centre

of the building, stand in a doorway, or crawl under heavy furniture

examples: a desk or table.

Stay away from windows and outside doors.

Or if you're outdoors,

stay in the open away from power lines

or anything that might fall. Stay away from buildings,

as the buildings or parts of it may fall on you.

The tsunami warning was for Perú and Hawai too, the earthquake was felt in Argentina and Brasil too

Chilean here! Even tho no one seems to care that much about earthquakes here anymore (since we're so used to them) the tsunami sure was unexpected. There was no access to either electricity or water in some of the cities/towns near the coast, and I think there's around 10 people dead and a few missing
