To be honest, as a rock/metal/alternative rock lover, I would be ecstatic if Gaga released an album that was pure rock/metal but I have a feeling she may not do it just yet.  The reason for this is that Interscope already let her release her jazz album and they will probably ask her to release one or two more pop albums before she dabbles into rock or R&B.

I could be wrong, though, and Gaga may surprise us with a full-on rock/metal album.  I guess we'll all just have to wait and see what happens when she releases LG5.  No matter what type of music it is, I will always support my Queen of Music:  the one and only Lady f*cking Gaga!!     :gaga:

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

VOLANTIS

Well ARTPOP was gonna be "Stoned Disney Princesses"

So I wouldn't bet my money on it.

yes because using examples of her snarling, growling and screaming practically = good rock music no thanks. My point still stand she can't sing anything rock, just because she's a rock fan doesn't mean she can sing it.

She should stick to her electronic music for her pop career

good god i hope she never takes your advice :wtf:

If you can't hear glam rock influences in Venus then I feel bad for you.

I've been listening to glam rock since I was below the age of five and I can't hear it, no. When there's not even an audible electric guitar melody, riff, something except an acoustic guitar in the post-chorus for a few seconds, only twice in the song, & since futuristic elements never are part of glam rock (nor are the electric ones she chose), I seriously doubt you even know what you're talking about.

I mean, even the live versions which were filled with an electric guitar sound (as a support of course, not as a main instrument) didn't sound like glam rock at all.

But feel free to educate me, I love being proven wrong :whitney:

Oh, ok  Just checking.

I'm a huge metal fan so it saddens me to read your previous post but at least you have a clear idea of why you don't like it.

Actually, come to think of it, I would be very into rock influence if it was anything like the following three artists/bands:

Porcelain Black

Evanescence

Linkin Park (Meteora era)

In a way, I'm not totally against the genre if it's done well or in a unique and groundbreaking way. Early Linkin Park was my first favorite in music, and they incorporated genres such as rap and a minuscule bit of pop influence in as well. Evanescence was wonderful while they lasted, and I wouldn't mind Porcelain Black/and the Tramps-like productions either like you mentioned is possible with RedOne's touch. I know they would mesh very well.

However, despite this, the rock attitude isn't my thing. It's kind of messy, and I'm not into messy. There's something about a falsified pop attitude which Gaga was known for that's so coordinated and dominating. I'd prefer her to save the rock attitude for clubs or whatever, but rock is a respected genre among many generations and her badass pop attitude (when she cares about dominating the world of pop) would garner her a lot of respect when paired with rock/metal influence. It's odd to lead a career of pop, star on one of the most watched shows on television and then have a pure "**** the mainstream" attitude.

Just listen to this. This would be heavenly:
