Refugees got the worst treatment in Macedonia and Hungary. 

 

That means they're forced into refugee camps and no any sane human being wants to stay and live there.

 

I completely understand this. Every sane human being wants to just live a good and free life. I may sound like an asshole, but they're refugees after all. Yes, first they're people. But this is the system we live in. They can't just burst into the country and act like they're legit citizens. This may cause a lot of problems for the actual citizens.

People who think they should be "grateful" (I actually laughed out loud at that word) probably think the refugees should be thanking these countries because at least they aren't being attacked with biochemical weapons.

No, Migrant would imply that they are just moving geographically for the sake of moving.

Those people are REFUGEES, seeking security for them and their families! Runnung away from WAR AND POVERTY !

Running away from poverty = economic migration = migrant not refugee. Lot of migrants had been living safely in Turkey for several years.

I've also read that you can knock at a door in the wall, and Hungarian authorities will consider your refugee claim if you want to make one.

Most of the refugees just want to transit through the country to get to Germany or Sweden where the majority of the population is supportive of refugees (even though the extremists still hold very violent protests). What Hungary is basically doing is denying them to get through the country in an attempt to keep Europe "clean"

But there is this stupid law that was reinforced that they have to stay in the first country they move to, so that's why they don't want to register in Hungary. Hungary is treating them like ****, but also they don't have any capacities left there so they are also extremely overwhelmed.

My Homeland Germany, aswell as America for exaple are doing SCHEIßE in order to help the refugees and contries like Hungary...they do nothing!

They aren't just running away from poverty. They are running away from war and oppressive governments. That makes them refugees, doesn't it? 

I'd say someone from Latin America escaping poverty coming to the US is a migrant, or immigrant, rather. Different circumstances decide whether someone is a refugee or not

You realize you;d have to go through bureaucratic hoops just to move from US to Canada or vice versa. You have a criminal record or aren't easily employable, it will be very hard.

Not really getting it. I mean, Hungary doesn't want them. Whether you're in a Hungarian refugee camp by going down the official route or you break through a border illegally, members here agree that you end up in a horrible situation.

Breaking through the border illegally however makes you end up in an even worse situation: you broke through in a country that doesn't want you. Refugees who do that clearly just aren't getting the fact that they're off worse this way. Sure, we can criticize Hungary for this painful situation but that's off-topic first of all and second of all, when a member here criticizes the behavior of refugees who seek illegal means to enter a country that won't even try to approach them as human beings, why is that such a taboo in this thread? It's only the most logical exposition of the situation possible in my imagination.

It seems to me that people are mistaking a criticism of this behavior of refugees with an automatic agreement with what Hungary's doing. The two have absolutely nothing to do with each other and since that's not even so hard to see, I can only explain the behavior of members calling out others who simply face the reality of the facts by them being too emotionally biased at this point to differentiate an observance of facts from agreeing with an inhumane reaction to a refugee crisis.

I'm sorry but Europeans and Americans can't just freely go anywhere they want. I think you're a bit naive. But whatever, I get what you mean.

Yes, I'm all up for this. LET the refugees find a safe and civilised place. Everyone of us deserves it. I want my country to accept as much refugees as it can. I want to help them. We are all human. BUT we all have to obey the laws. It sounds lame and tragic but that's the hard truth, isn't it?
