Didymus 34,380 Posted September 15, 2015 Share Posted September 15, 2015 I wouldn't make an album, I'd just release songs separately with a few weeks between each new song, all unique collaborations with artists of different genres, all released for free with a music video tied to each and a unique visual artwork also in collaboration with artists from different visual art traditions. Since she can just continue to write I imagine it eventually leading up to like 50 songs or something and it could go on forever without her era collapsing because there's not enough excitement post-album release. I'd also release the app the way it was meant to function: as the real centerpiece of the era - an addition to her career that would last throughout it, offering her fans live streams and recordings of all her captured performances, access to unreleased songs, stems, instrumentals, interviews, you name it. Like Gaga's original intention, I would also use it to release all my music prior to a global release on stream services etc. with some unique visual features à la Biophilia. Instead of a concert tour I would make a club tour where some severe EDM remixes of all of her songs are played by a live DJ of Gaga's choosing. Gaga makes an appearance every night, performs a few songs à la Venus @ London (without special stage effects or whatever) and hangs out with her fans. I'm not sure how this would work in terms of security but whatever, let me fantasize I wouldn't do interviews because the music and all the other things happening should speak for themselves and I'd just use the entire era as a sort of transitional basis for the rest of her career. At the end of the era I would finally release a beautiful physical edition of all the songs, remixes of the songs, a dvd release that features a documentary of the making of the music, the app and a documentary about her touring the world to party with her fans. I'd collaborate with Koons to make every single cover art unique and every single one of them would be signed. It would be a collector's item so the amount would be limited.
