Didymus 34,380
Well I guess its all up for interpretation. Idk I just feel like with the exception of a few songs I really haven't learned that much morr about Gaga than what I already knew. I just want more soul searching and revelations for her next album. I want her to take me on a true spiritual journey. Maybe I'm just asking for too much. That does sound great I'd love that too, but I guess my wildest dreams are already filtered through my expectations of Gaga and I know that first and foremost she wants to please her fans. And remember when she said that what the fans wanted was "fun club songs to dance to" or whatever, I mean.. I think she's gonna stick with that as long as she wants to keep targeting the majority of her fanbase. But maybe she changed her mind after C2C, you never know
Kayla 7,595
With the way she's been building her image up I think we will be seeing a very mature and clever album. I'm not worried at all. :)
yASSsss 35,510
When and how did she say this? i don't remember where but she said something like "i would love to make another album like The Fame Monster,if given enough time"...these are not the exact words but as far as i can remember this is what she meant Call me by your name and I'll call you by mine

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

But maybe she changed her mind after C2C, you never know I'm hoping the reception of the C2C era combined with all the accolades she received from covering great songs in all those tributes and the Oscars has motivated her to really up her songwriting game to try to match up with those greats she has covered. Gaga is the perfect person to help push pop with better songwriting and not just "bops" designed to be temporarily successful.

Definitely hoping for the same and some of her more recent quotes seem to legitimize those hopes I remember her having some kind of Instagram phase earlier this year about how she really wanted to use her voice to say something important and make a change (in a musical sense). I mean, surely she must realize that the expectations are very high rn and her famous pop competition has no chance of outdoing her in terms of impressive next-level songwriting/performing (or at least that's how I see it) so if she's smart she'll start writing with the goal of making actual classics

She does have some great songs but Pink and Adele work at a higher more consistent level for me. I want to see Gaga really push for songwriting greatness. I know it's in her, she's shown flashes, and she has great mentors like Elton if se chooses to use them.
Bitter 3,640
I just want her to deliver timeless songs with personal and relatable lyrics and nice melodies.I'm not here for ridiculous songs like donatella, Jewels N' Drugs etc :puke:
Miel 15,009
I was actually really distraught when she said "with Born This Way, I showed a sense of maturity- with the next album, it'll be a lack of maturity" at one of her BTWB shows. I wouldn't say ARTPOP was immature wholly, but at least in sound it sounded premature, almost rushed at some points. The thing about preachiness is that I don't mind it. During BTW, when she was literally everywhere to the point of annoyance by a lot of people, she utilized her voice in a manner that really did make a change among a lot of people, and sparked up huge conversations that honestly might have impacted how we are today, even if minutely. Am I saying go back to BTW? No, even if I'm its hugest stan- rather, her utilizing what she acknowledges as a powerful voice is something I don't want her to waste.I don't want her to create something for the purpose of authenticity. I mean, obviously it's never a bad thing to up her writing game, but if she honestly followed the vein of TFM like so many fans want to, I don't know how I'd feel about it. 3 points in and ready for more
