monketsharona 84,101
Yeah and I think she's under contract with Interscope until 2017. Which mean probably one more album. But she'll probably renew her contract...
Diamond Heart 4,400
I presume that Live Nation will snatch her up again for the next one, cause she makes BANK with her tours ! "GGD IS NOT FOR YOU" - Admin
prince 4,688
Then whenever you here icons talking about their inspiration you never hear Madonna, you always hear Michael I love that you wrote this on a Gagadaily site with a Lady Gaga avatar...are you ****ing insane or? Literally if no artist in the world ever praised Madonna that doesn't mean she hasn't influenced or changed the face of pop music. Without her we wouldn't have these huge successful female artists today; we wouldn't have Miley Cyrus twerking at the VMAs if Madonna 29 years before that hadn't rolled around in a wedding dress, humping her veil and flashing her arse at the very first VMAs. Lets not forget that her video for Bedtime Story is part of MOMAS permanent collection, ARTPOP much?! Remember her Sex book? Madonna is forever pushing boundaries and she paved the way for nearly every single female artist, thanks to her shaking their arses on stage, walking around in latex and bondage gear, using s-xual taboo subjects and religious imagery in their art and music isn't exactly that shocking anymore and it's not hard to pull off because another woman did it multiple years before them when pop culture and the music industry was firmly against it and found it career destroying. Feel free to express your opinions but just remember sometimes they can be wrong.

Pop 4,541
I remember when her tours used to be events to behold. People were desperate to get tickets because "it could be her last".Now it's like, "oh look Madonna's on tour doing a s-xy routine again... meh". It's sad how things have changed. Taboo themes and subjects are bound to be broken and talked about, so really, rolling in that "Without Madonna you wouldn't have your current divas" is more than stupid. Yes she did it, but if it wasn't her it would be somebody else. johnpe 916
And no I'm not denying the fact that Madonna is an icon and legend, that she's done a lot and so on, but praising her on a worshipping level for what she's done is delusional. *Sprays myself with anti-madonna stan spray* MAKE IT WORK

Dominic 11,922
She will renew. She makes LN a lot of profit. In regards to Madonna being a living legend I would say that was definitely true 5-10 years ago but it seems that MDNA and RH really tarnished that for the more younger generations. It's embedded into us that Madonna and Michael are the King and Queen but it seems that people are laughing at her now and not taking her 'legacy' seriously. She may still be a touring force but listening to the comments by the GP it tends to be extremely negative and critical. People aren't seeing her as a legend as much now, they see her as a joke. Pop 4,541
I don't know where you heard that from but I have never. Madonna's concerts are always a huge event, everybody knows this is her strength.Things have not changed.I'm speaking from personal experience. Me and my friends used to be perched for on day 1 of ticket sales to grab tickets for RIT, CT, S&S... but with time everyone just stopped caring. Her music progressively got worse and her tours became quite predictable and repetitive. The Taylor Brigade: KNOCKOUT
