Bradley 58,078 Posted August 31, 2015 Share Posted August 31, 2015 Actually Beyonce was nominated for Video of the Year, it's not MTV's fault Beyonce didn't attend, not to mention Beyonce doesn't have a new album coming out, hence there's nothing for her to perform. Snubbing FourFiveSeconds was foolish I agree, but again even if MTV let Rihanna performed, Rihanna probably wasn't prepared yet, I mean we know what happened to R8. Same case for Gaga who has nothing to promote, so MTV was being reasonable this year. I like how everyone was such a mess this year though, from Nicki to Miley to Kanye, I mean the adversarial atmosphere was so strong this year and it was entertaining. That tells a lot: sure she might not have that much input into her work as Gaga, but she is fierce, confident and people are drawn to her. I think that's cool.
