I loved this. I was really disappointed that the next interview (I think it was at the H&M opening in New York) was the absolute opposite. This really felt like ARTPOP to me, she was totally in the spirit of her Wilson experience & it showed us a meditative Gaga that we never saw before.

I also was very impressed with her opinions on whether or not she considers herself to be an artist and where she is at this point of her career I remember wishing she would continue in this trend, work with Marina and ignite a new spirit in her work but that came to nothing, sadly.

In any case, this is definitely one of her interviews to remember

I remember a lot of people thought she was being really pretentious in this interview. A very contemplative/serious side of her was exposed because she was too exhausted to sort of cover it up.

I watched this with my family when it aired and it just turned into a huge fight between us, it was hard to defend her though even I didn't really know where she was coming from. It's understandable now however after seeing the behind the scenes footage and knowing the length of time it took her to do the portraits. I died watching it when one of my twitter friends popped up on the screen. There's also an extended 1 hour version btw! Oh and I hated the fans that said "Nobody does the paws up anymore" as if it was something embarrassing.

This was one of my most favorite interviews in a long time! I literally paused the vid every now and then to type out quotes I wanted to remember. And I really liked the black hair "Applause"/early ARTPOP look she had going on.
