omg this is brilliant! I can totally see Gaga doing exactly the same thing and this is how you cover a Gaga song! I'm sick of people trying to impersonate Gaga (I appreciate their passion and love for my fav) but they tend to put on really crazy outfits and make-up which don't make any sense and hence give the GP a wrong impression of Gaga because Gaga doesn't dress like them. I mean you have to still make some sense if you wanna be provocative.

From the candles to the tall-legged-piano to the outfit to her vocals and to how everything matches the theme of the song, I can tell she's definitely very inspired by Gaga and she impersonated her in a very acceptable and beautiful way, in short she's not here to mess around. Well done.

I also like how she picked Marry the Night to showcase her talent when other Gaga covers are usually Applause, The Edge of Glory, etc.

i feel the same way.

oh god, everybody loves it... and i don't. 

i don't really like this rendition of the song. imo, her vocal technique is not that great. her voice was a bit shaky at some points. it also didn't help that she basically took one of gaga's performances and tired to imitate the whole thing. it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't breathtaking either. 

point being, if you decide to sit down at the piano and go with a ballad, you better make sure that your voice is suitable for the song.

Seriously? I hated this. The producer/judge who gave her this song just totally ripped off the whole alan carr performance. No originality and it doesn't suit her at all.

it's more than not having charisma. she was flat frequently. that bothers me. 

what also bothers me is that they make the contestants edit and shorten the songs down to less than 2 minutes, and then they're singing basically snippets of a song. so annoying.

agreed. i sang MTN at karaoke a year ago and it was so hard... and i realized just how powerful Gaga's pipes are... it's not an easy song and I doubt many people could do that song justice the way Gaga can.

Didn't like it. She was flat in parts and like others have said, this is just a copy of the Alan Carr performance. This girl better be glad Natalia Kills isn't one of the judges, otherwise she'd have come for her.
