Lady Gaga Threatens Royal Baby Ice Cream Company with Lawsuit

It's being reported that Lady Gaga is threatening to sue a breast milk ice cream company for allegedly using her name (not her full name, FYI) for one of their flavours.

Not the BREAST news for The Licktators, the company behind the ice cream, really.

The ice cream in question is one that was made in May to mark Princess Charlotte's birth, with the London-based company opting to call their creation Royal Baby Gaga.

It's made with actual human breast milk, which has been donated, screened "in line with hospital standards," whipped up and frozen, and comes in a tub featuring a woman breastfeeding on the front.

Unfortunately, Gaga's solicitors are claiming that people may mistakenly believe Royal Baby Gaga ice cream is an official Lady Gaga product and that as such, the use of her name is authorised.

As a result, they're requesting that all offending words are removed from social media and are no longer used within 14 days.

However, Nadine O'Connor (or 'General Custard'), a spokesperson from The Licktators, told The Mirror that the special edition ice cream "neither names nor features Lady Gaga, nor are her trademarks infringed."

She adds: "We will not be bullied into removing content from social media relating to our product and subsequent media coverage.

"However, we will send complimentary tubs of our ice cream to Lady Gaga for chilling out to, as a gesture of peace and goodwill."

Come on, guys. There's no use crying over spilt (breast) milk (ice cream). Ahem.

Thoughts on all this to @Sugarscape, merci beaucoup.

I doubt that's even true. A rumor that has been spread for years. Tbh I think this company claims it themselves to get more promo.
