Yes, it had started.

It was the time of lip injections, 20 joints a day, depression, etc. She has talked about it a lot...

Combination of changing of management and the outcome of the doc - I doubt Terry would be editing it in a positive light at all, it probably focused so much on the d--g use etc that having that experience officially released and out there forever probably isn't the best for her as the person who went through something like that and as a high profile celebrity - her image would have been tarnished regardless of the fact that she's good now.

troy carter owns gagas music from ARTPOP and Before. so when he left, he forbid her to launch it otherwise he could sue her. same happened with the DWUW video and ARTPOP ACT II. gaga has them but she cant legally release them without being sued by troy. troy basically ****ed up everything, thats why it isnt gagas fault we never got her promises

no Troy Carter doesn't own her music from ARTPOP and before, her label and publisher do. He still probably gets payed for her past music and everything she did, and will probably continue to get a certain percentage off the top from whatever money she makes a couple of year into the future as well, if a sunset clause was in her contract, but he doesn't earn royalties. Gaga gets all her money first, and off of that, him probably 15-20 percent.

He does not own any rights to her work and can't sue if she releases anything she produced while he was her manager. He probably wants her to, if they signed a SC, because that will mean he'll still make money off of her

Economy

well it turned out to be a XXX movie and that's not profitable

that cant be the reason...

if the movie was already made then the costs have already been payed for regardless, u make it even more unprofitable by not getting any revenue period

so i wouldnt buy that reason

what you say its probably true, but id depends on they type of contracts and agreements each artist establishes. sometimes artists grant rights to their managers if they trust them. troy defintely had a hand in all this mess. rumors say he left gaga for another female artist and he didnt let gaga release anything because it was potentially going to make gaga´s career even better so he had to push the competition away if he wanted this new artist to succeed... although i dont believe that. and gaga can be sued. her lable can do that as well (not troy necessarily)

im just saying... if a small movie costs $5 million to make lets say (yes low budget because this aint no hollywood movie) you expect revenue of only $3 million cause its XXX then, well it might not make sense to do it as you estimate a $2 million loss

but if u arrive at that concludion AFTER already making the movie and paying for it, then you might as well release it and make your $3 million. If you dont release it at all you make a $5 million loss since u already payed for it

from my understand the movie was already made so profitable or not, if it was payed for already it would make no sense to not release it for monetary reasons

its a simple logic, the reason they didnt release it had to be something else!

No artist would sign over their rights to their manager. A manager can't stop an artist from releasing anything, he's not their boss, it's a symbiotic relationship. If anything, the artist is the boss.

If she leaks anything, yes, her label can take action. her manager can't. And why would he?

No, he actually literally can't sue her for copyright infringement. He has no legal grounds, and he doesn't own the rights. So why would he want to sue for something that he has nothing to do with?

again, we dont know how gaga´s and troys carter contract worked. to me he´s the only reason gaga could release anything as her label usually supports her and the: "it was a dark time in her life" excuse is bs to me considering she wouldnt do that to her fans . but since we wont agree, im just gonna leave things here

I have NEVER heard of an artist signing off their rights to their MANAGER. An artist would NEVER do that. Think about it, what purpose could it POSSIBLY serve? He has nothing to do with her rights or publishing.
