She's barely sold 1.4 million in the UK over 3 albums and that's the country where she's most successful. Her debut sold 1.2 million, her follow-up sold over 100k, her latest release little over 60k. According to my calculations, she's also sold around 5.2 million singles in the UK. So, even added together to make total records sold, she's barely sold 6.6 million in the UK. God only knows how much they've sold internationally seeing as she doesn't have a following abroad. But they did say albums, not records. I know X Factor inflated sales of artists in their introductions, but this is ridiculous.
