I've never liked Katy Perry, her face annoys me, and this was during I Kissed a Girl, my closest friends know about this and it had nothing to do with Gaga or the fact that they always want to place them in that "Britney vs. Christina" controversy. I like some of her songs (The One That Got Away, ET, Choose Your Battles, Teenage Dream) and maybe tolerated some that later became overexposed (Dark Horse) but it just annoys me to see her face everywhere and the amount of music videos and performances that she does, it's inevitable to see her on Facebook or just any media.The Roar vs. Applause thing didn't bother me because I simply didn't pay attention to her other than the music being played in public places, but yeah, she's just a popstar that I wouldn't mind if she takes long breaks. In all seriousness, I like the music Katy releases. It's fun. I just consider it homogenized, if enjoyable, and not of the same caliber as Gaga in general.
