I'd rather have the focus on the next album be on lyrics, vocals and nice melodical arrangements. Not saying that this song is bad, but I just don't see a sound like this fitting in Gaga's future. It was much more a matter of...let's say "public perception". She could have done any other genre, she'd still fail...However, a ton of ppl here, on twitter and on IG say EDM as one of the reasons ARTPOP underperformed...so I believe a lot of ppl are expecting her to take a different direction...
