All good.

The Hobby Lobby comparison might even be accurate but the muted floral look is fulfilling the 14yo Tumblr-era goth girl that lives inside me lmao

I hate greatest hits albums so much. They don’t add anything new 90% of the time and are just quick cash grabs

Especially in the context of the streaming/youtube/digital library era... they have never been less necessary

Compilation albums are so boring unless you’re re imagining the songs like Demi did when she released that Rock EP

I used to like compilation albums years ago because you’d get the hits without having to buy full albums and just wanted to listen to those or get into an artist/band’s discography.

There’s not a lot of magic today in these when it’s mostly digital music and you just play them to listen to that collection but kinda like the idea of having these in physical just for fun and as collector.

ABBA’s Gold for example is so good from start to finish that you get hit after hit without the clutter of the albums (in the good way, they have a beautiful discography).
