Sorry, I'm too used to seeing members idiotically trying to get Rihanna down because of her (lack of) chart success and being sincere about it

Don't get me wrong though, I loved ARTPOP as an album. It's the era as a whole I'm talking about. It's not brain surgery to figure out that Gaga could've used more time to figure out her era and come up with concepts she was proud of. That's what I see Rihanna doing and the quality of her work is booming. Not being willing to step into the pop industry machine clearly can have a positive side effect when you're in a position to do what you want.
