JusKeepBreathin 19,311
well for starters her sales could be reduced again, her relevance could slip away and consequently resulting in her having less funding from the label, less extravagant performances, less budget for a better tour, losing fans (let's face it she did lose fans during C2C because they don't like jazz). This album is her make or break album in terms of proving if she's truly a legend or icon and coming back strong or fall into irrelevance and become the Cyndi Lauper to Katy's Madonna.or she could become iconic like Amy Winehouse and sell 26 million albums WW with one album or Norah Jones and sell 20 Million WW with one album. Some songs like Rolling in the Deep by Adele can be considered jazz. She is not doing a standards Jazz album next if that's what you are worried about. lol Many things can happen. Contemporary Jazz albums sell more than you think. No one ever worries about how much Michael Buble is going to sell. kiwifromvenus 508
It is not always be Jazz, guys.Brass instrument are not only incoporated in Jazz. They can.always write a nice ballad or simething like XTine's Ain't No Other Man.Let yourself be free, Pop is not that narrow nor is Jazz. It is music, it is liquid and ever changing. This :) Music is liquid and ever changing! I love it! I'm here for anything Gaga wishes to explore, because like she promotes and encourages us to grow as people and creatives so will I for her. I'll be proud and support any direction she goes. There is always a reason she does something so PAWS THE F*** UP and lets get behind our Mother Monster and start supporting her like the strong fanbase we are supposed to be. Too much negativity and dooming her album before its even begun. She doesn't do that to us so why should we to her? Have your opinion but seriously open your heart, soul and mind to possibilities so that when it comes around (like ARTPOP did) you don't hate it before it even begins! I have had an open mind with everything she does and have always been surprised and that is the reason I love everything of hers, because I don't expect I get surprised.I LOVE you Gaga you beautiful person you! <
JazzGa 14,621
Yaaaaaaaassssssssss good I was hoping Brian Newman would feature on her next record! For all of you who are scared of a jazz trumpet on a pop record, please remember how flawlessly Clarence Clemon's saxophone slipped into Hair and TEOG My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <
Lee Ng 1,490
Mess at someone who thinks Jazz can't break the chart . What about " I'm Breathless" by Madonna - a pure Jazz album with its first single called " Vogue " - one of her best ****s in her career Calm ur tits down and wait ... Gaga knows how to shock the world everytime .
PaperIz 7,346
Just because she's writing jazzy doesn't mean it will turn out that way, plus I completely expect a jazz pop song or 2 on the album Human generated art

BillieGOAT 5,216
Lol you couldn't be more wrong... With the Oscar performance (and the other great performances like the Imagine one) she took A LOT of fans. And not only old people.Media started to love her again! The fans she """Lost""" with this era will come back just when she releases a bop. They are not even a problem..Also don't forget that old people are at least buying albums and that could help with her album salesThe Oscars wasn't C2C
BillieGOAT 5,216
This may come as a big surprise, but jazz music isn't just for people 65 and older. There are jazz fans in their teens, twenties, thirties and forties. Are you, by chance, really young or from a country that doesn't appreciate jazz music? If so, you might not know this. Good riddance to the basic, narrow minded fans. They did nothing but whine and complain, like a bunch of middle school girls, anyhow. I'm glad they are gone! Let them go stan the Disney type pop girls. 17 from the USA and I can tell you that in my entire life I have never met a jazz fan sub 60 years old. I loved C2C, I'm just saying that the notion that she gained a large amount of fans with a jazz cover album is deluded.

I loved C2C, I'm just saying that the notion that she gained a large amount of fans with a jazz cover album is deluded. You don't get out much, then. Maybe when you grow up and get out in the real world, you will meet adults. I know it's hard to believe right now, but adults actually have diverse musical interest. They don't all listen to Pop for teens. Jazz isn't just for senior citizens. That's ridiculous. LetsGetHigh 52,683
Just go out then...making assumptions without even knowing the truth..she knows what she's doing and don't need people like you to control her...a real fan follows through the idol's mindset and can adapt to every situation, at least be appreciative!! I'm not controlling her in any way, I am simply voicing my opinion on the matter. I've been around since 2010 (mind you I was barely 12 at that time) and I am definitely not leaving her now. I'm just saying if she releases a second Jazz album directly after the first, I would be, in a way, sad. I want Pop music, I want to be in a Pop era, I want Pop music video events, I want to stay up late trying to listen to the new singles; I don't think this is too much to ask for since what happened with ARTPOP.
