VFD 57
Gypsy has something off in its production, but I can't put my finger around it. It feels seamless with Gaga's vocals. I enjoy it, but sometimes I can't stop thinking about that. While, objectively, Venus isn't better in its production, it fits better with the overall campiness of the song. VFD 57
Gypsy is easily Gaga's most generic sounding song and with the aid of her typical best friend Mrs Melodyne Katy could damn well sing this song & the progression and the instrumentation sounds like a typical pop song, Gags should've released it for a sure fire hit tbh bc that's all it's good for.Is it really? The production isn't repetitive or predictable like most radio-friendly songs would be. I don't really consider it generic (at least not in its negative connotation). It's just a much lighter song, with simple but honest lyrics, compared to most of Gaga's songs. This in turn makes it easier to listen, and thus, radio-friendly.Also, not many could sing the chorus of the song, IMO.

BillieGOAT 5,216
Venus is an eclectic mess of hooks that don't work together coupled with a dated beat.Gypsy is #1 material that is easy to listen to and sing along to. It has a pop-y beat that would work great on radio, and it's hooks are far superior to Venus and every other song on AP.

Head Empty 25,084
Venus is just a little more: While Gypsy is more: Venus has a bit more juice to it They both have great drops though. LeoFameMonster 1,592
Because Gypsy means a lot more to the fans because its about all of us. She sings it so passionately it is about each and every one of us. First time she played that song before it was released was in Germany and my friends and I watched the video and for some reason we all started crying. The passion was just so raw

She says join me in seeing the world if not she can be alone. In the end he joins her and gets that she lives for touring and seeing her fans. That song touched me the most when she did it in germany on the piano before you can even tell that it would be radio friendly because it wasn't a studio version and I had no idea what it would sound like. I guess its open for interpretation how we want to take the song, I like venus and think that was more radio friendly. Gypsy just means so much which is why I think the fan base not just stans love it. its a work of ART......pop lol
