Very sad but people have recovered and gone on to lead normal lives. Im so sorry to hear that. I can't even imagine what it would feel like to lose someone so close to you. I hope you are doing well. I remember she had this cancer in like 2011 and had treatments and now she's at stage four? God this is so horrible! I'm so sorry. Hope she will recover..Generally speaking, especially with breast cancer, after you have had it, even after you are entirely cured (which is likely with most breast cancers), you have a larger chance of it recurring or returning to your body, especially within the first 5 years, which it seems she was in, unfortunately. And seriously, less than10 minutes later Gaga posts this picture on LM.I don't know her, but Sonja always seemed like such a warm and kind person, just like everyone in the Haus. Last thing I heard they were raising money for her online to help with treatment and medical bills. I have a feeling Gaga helped out with that. It wouldn't surprise me. I mean, she can afford mansions, old cars, Jackson's memorabilia, designer's clothes and so on. Not that there's something wrong with that, but she can definitely help her friend in need. Either way, I worked with cancer patients for many years and you'd be surprised how many don't want to see doctors afterwards and fail to do their check ups. I doubt this is the case with her given her job/environment, but it certainly isn't as uncommon as people would think. Lesson to everyone: take care of yourself before so cancer has less of a chance of happening, and take care of yourself after so cancer has less of a chance of coming back! This type of massage is for people who have lymphedema, which is typically caused by removing the lymph nodes as a cancer treatment. So, why would Gaga need that type of massage?Edit: So apparently its possible for the lymph nodes in your leg to be damaged during hip surgery.
