I was aware she was getting some bad press post-Born This Way but it's almost like this video cursed the entire era. Take this as seriously as you want. Knowing that Gaga studied fame religiously, I think it's safe to say she was somewhat prepared for all the criticism that was going to surround ARTPOP. Maybe she did not know the extent of its condemnation, but she probably prepared herself on how to regain her footing once the era was over and took the proper precautions to do so correctly. It was sort of bound to happen anyway given the state of modern pop music and she knew that a la her 60 Minute interview. If anyone knows how to enhance their public image, it's Gaga.
