Sinéad O'Connor brands Kim Kardashian a 'c**t', says music has died

Rolling Stone isn't a magazine just for music though, it's about pop culture in general and Kim Kardashian's definitely a BIG part of that

Basically. They do movies, television, trends, and music. I'm not a big fan of Kim but it is what it is. She has a large fan base and everyone has an opinion of her and her family, whether good or bad. She's a household name with huge hit television shows under her belt, and her fame has practically doubled thanks to her marriage with Kanye. I don't like it, but I can see their reasoning for using Kim on the cover. She's about as relevant to pop culture as it gets.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

I don't care for KK, but why would Sinéad O'Connor say such a disrespectful, uncalled insult to someone featured on the cover of Rolling Stone? Did she want to be on that cover herself? Is she jealous? Did KK do something bad or damaging to Sinéad O'Connor personnaly? I don't understand, but Sinéad O'Connor comes out as an embittered, angry and mean person saying such a stup!d thing.

I agree that she shouldn't be on the cover tbh, but it's hardly going to "kill" the music tbh

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about Kim on the cover, BUT she is part of POP culture. But definitely doesnt mean we should Boycott it :hunty:

But I'm talking more about everything else like,

1. "Music has officially died." She's taking it too far here tbh.:later:

2. O'Connor famously traded sharp-tongued letters with Miley Cyrus throughout October 2013, and slammed U2 as "terrorists" for releasing their album for free through Apple last autumn.

3. Well before his mention in her latest missive, X Factor boss Simon Cowell has been a frequent target of O'Connor's scorn in recent years as well.

She just wants attention. :saladga:

Yeah, maybe she's exaggerating a bit, but I totally get her point. She has some tea in what she says even if it's a little extreme.

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

Dumb hyperbole, reads like a Youtube comment lol.

It's ironic too cause Kim's husband is proof enough that music is thriving. Her comment would be a--lagous to saying music died when Yoko Ono covered Rolling Stone

Straight up calling her a **** is uncalled for, but I can't say I'm not sick of Kim and the rest of the Kardashians. Putting Kim on covers has become so tired at this point, especially when fashion mags try to do this whole "we're putting this celebrity that got famous from a s-x tape and a reality show in high fashion, how novel and zeitgeist-y!" kind of thing.

I agree with the jist of what she's saying, but she's so rude about it and takes it to a level I can't get on board with.
