Have you seen the amount of republicans running this election term? I honestly don't see a republican victory this term just on the fact that the vote, at least currently, is split between over 10 candidates. I guess when both parties pick their champion, we'll see how things turn out.

The Republican candidates will get weeded out with the primary election, and Republicans definitely won't vote for someone that doesn't win the primary. But if Sanders gets votes in the actual election, he will be taking them from Hillary.
